First Bath

My beautiful girl had her first bath on the 16th. She LOVED every minute of it. When I placed her into her tub she began to cry at first but then calmed down and began looking around. I took a washcloth and gently squeezed water out all over her. She was very relaxed by the warm water.
Before when I would give her sponge baths and she would scream. I always had a difficult time washing her hair with a sponge; I wanted to really get all the soap out. So I began washing her hair in the sink, putting her head under the faucet. During that time of her bath she was always very calm. I figured that she just liked the water. Her sponge baths must have made her cold. So it came as no surprise to me when she loved the water and her first bath!
