These days are running together.....

Study, study, check out Pinterest (a new-found hobby/addiction), study, study, study, change diaper & put on new movie, study, study, Facebook, procrastinate with other stupidity, then more studying. Ugh....I don't even know what day it is!

Jason was so accommodating today. As soon as he got home from work he took Shelby and went to get a hair cut. He said she's a chick magnet and then pointed out that he had forgotten his wedding ring...thanks sweetie. :)

Then they went to our garden to harvest, water, and tend to it.

The harvest was plentiful
Collard Greens, Mixed Lettuces, & Rainbow Radishes
When they got home they snuggled up to watch a movie and stayed quite for me.

Dinner was MOD Pizza. Personal pizzas for $6.88 loaded with any topping you want. They just opened and we think they'll be a hit! Served with a salad using lettuce and radishes from our garden of course!

They are both in bed now. Jason has to be up at 4:30am. He's working yet another Sunday. :/ The overtime pay is a blessing but it stinks that he's been working 57 hr work weeks for over a month now. I am proud of him for his diligence in signing up to work the over time and in turn, make extra payments on student loans. As my Grandmother says, "This too shall pass." And it will! :)

Ok, my eye lids are beginning to droop.

First Day of Work

Handsome Husband Update

Here is Jason leaving for his first day of work at Boeing. It was around 5am, I believe.
Jason has been thoroughly enjoying his new job. To date, he has been working to complete all his training and certification requirements. From what he's been told it should take him up to two months to complete all the initial training.

He has been doing so well in the training and scoring higher than the other trainees. He's not one to brag so I'll brag for him! I'm so proud of him and the effort he's putting in. His hard work is already paying off.

So that's the update for now. All is good with Jason and his new job! Thanks to everyone who has had him in their prayers.

Happy Birthday to Jason!

Today is Jason's birthday and even though he is crazy busy with Maymester and work I had to do something for him. Since he only had 1 1/2 hrs. for lunch I decided on a nice lunch, a "brownie" cake, and a gift.

Here is the birthday table. I set out the cards he had received. The poor thing had to open a pink gift bag with flowers to get to his gift...it's all I had.

I made Easy Lemon Pasta with Chicken.

The birthday boy...Rock Chalk Jayhawks! :D

He loves the Underworld series, I think part of his love has to do with Kate Beckinsale ;), so I got him the new movie that just came out. He hasn't seen it yet so this weekend we get to snuggle up and watch it!

These are his birthday brownies. I asked him if he wanted cake, but he's a die hard brownie lover so that's what he requested. To make them more birthday worthy I used icing to write "Happy B'day" (Not very well I might add.) on them and put candles in them.

Just to clarify, he did not feed his 3 1/2 month old daughter brownie...he just was acting like it! You silly. :)

So "HAPPY BIRTHDAY!" to my wonderful husband whom love with all my heart! I love you sweetie.
